The New Mexico High School/College Challenge Rodeo
went well with Jaran Martin winning the Bull Riding. Over 200
contestants both high school and college competed for the weekend in
Farmington, New Mexico. Jaran Martin a first year student majoring
in Construction Technology at Navajo Technical College. A student
from Montezuma Creek, Utah. His sister (Chasity Martin) completed
and graduated this past spring as a Veterinarian Assistant and was
also on the Rodeo Team. Good job to the NTC Rodeo Team for
representing the school. Thanks to the New Mexico Rodeo Council and
the NM Governor for putting the rodeo together.
