When did you start an interest in Rodeo?

"When I was young. I loved horses (even cows). Instead of playing with dolls I played with my breyer horses. My Dad (Rick Reagan past IRCA Bull Riding Champion) is a rancher and has always had horses, so I got to start riding at a young age."

Do you have a lucky piece that you carry with you when you compete?

"No"

What other sports other than rodeo do you enjoy?

"I love watching Horse Racing and NBA Basketball, favorite player is David Robinson."

What is the funniest thing that you have seen or experienced at a rodeo?

"( I won’t mention names ) It was the 2001 UIRA Finals in Havre a Junior Barrel Racer came flying in the arena with her long goldie locks under her felt hat. When she went around 1st barrel she lost her hat and the next stride she lost her hair piece. When the run was over and the judge had to walk out and pick up the hat he then noticed the hair piece, about that time the crowd also noticed."

What advice would you give to Indian youth about rodeo or anything in general?

"Take care of your horses. I see quite a few barrel horses that are not in shape. I think if you are going to go and put your money up for entries you better have a horse ready to run. Spend time with your horse, ride 5 times a week for at least an hour. This not only helps you become a better rider, but it helps your horse get with you. The barrel horses ( and rope horses ) are the true athletes in rodeo and they need to be in shape. Put them on a good feed program and stick to it. There are a couple of girls (used to be junior barrel racers, now they’re senior) that I am impressed with, LaTrese Tatsey and Misty Tatsey. These 2 girls took ex - race horses and their dad’s rope horses and made very nice barrel horses out of them. From watching them the last few years you can tell they ride more than 20 minutes a day twice a week. Their horses look great and run good for them. They will come up and ask questions on what they did in their run. That shows me they want to keep learning, and they’re open for advice. Just make sure you get it from someone who knows what they are doing."

Is their any songs that inspire or pump you up before you ride or rope?

"No"

What would you like to see more of at Rodeo's?

"Well for the Canadian Indian Associations there are a couple of big rodeos (Standoff and Sarcee) that don’t count Ladies Breakaway Roping as a major event, and they probably get more entries in Breakaway than some other major events. It would be nice to have the same amount money added in Breakaway as the other major events.
Also, at the INFR it would be great to feel like a contestant who earned their way to the finals. I feel you worked hard all year to make it and you shouldn’t have to go and dish out a couple thousand dollars, between fees, horse stalls, horse bedding, and rooms. I appreciate what the INFR has done for the Indian Rodeo world, and I’m sure one day there will be a finals where the purse will be bigger and we won’t have to pay to be there. For the near future I would like to see at least free stalls for the horses. It’s usually $20.00 / horse / day, it adds up with 3 horses and 5 days."

Have you heard of the American Cowboy CD?

"No"

What are your favorite western movies?  "Any John Wayne movies"

What is your favorite music?  "RocknRoll"

Would you like to thank sponsors and or anyone for your success in rodeo?

"The first and foremost is God. I feel I’ve been truly blessed with my barrel horse “Faith” and breakaway horse “Colonel Sanders”. I Thank God everyday for them, my family, and my health.
I thank my family, my Dad is very supportive in rodeo, and he actually has made me the competitor I am now. My mom is great too she is a blast to travel with to rodeos she keeps me laughing and that is very important to have fun"!
